Home: Planet Earth

Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a French photographer, journalist, reporter and environmentalist. I first heard about him in London where his “Earth from Above” free exhibition was set up on numerous big posters outside the Natural History Museum for months.

In 2009, Yann Arthus-Bertrand directed Home, a documentary almost entirely composed of aerial shots of various places on Earth, it was filmed in 50 countries. It shows the diversity of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the ecological balance of the planet. Although it has some harsh facts of how we are contributing to global warming, it ends on a positive note.

The film has no copy right so it’s free to watch online:

We hope you like it too.
