Easter

Easter is here! In every country there  are different customs and traditions. If you want to know how British people celebrate click here.

Listen to Molly describing how Easter is celebrated in the USA.

In Britain we eat a special type of cake called Hot Cross Buns on Good Friday (the Friday before Easter Sunday). Here is the old rhyme that children traditionally sang.

“Hot cross buns,
hot cross buns,
one a penny, two a penny,
hot cross buns.

If you do not like them,
give them to your sons,
one a penny, two a penny,
hot cross buns.”

Finally an Easter Bunny rap to sing-a-long to!!
